WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDE?

The registration fee includes the season games, Full NJB uniform, NJB Basketball (Winter), League insurance, season game fees, scorekeeper fees, picture day (Winter), awards for top teams, NJB membership.

During the Winter Season each team is required to obtain a team sponsorship of $400 to help offset the costs of practice time and scorekeeper fees. Sponsors will receive recognition.

WHAT IS A TEAM SPONSORSHIP?

Each individual NJB team humbly seeks a specific team sponsor from a member in the community, whether it be an individual or company.

Your team sponsorship will assist in paying for practice gym time for the season and offset expenses to operate the league. Everything from uniforms and basketballs, to gym time, referees, scorekeepers, tournaments, trophies and medals, are covered by these funds to run our organization.

NJB is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization serving the youth in your community, which means your contribution is 100% tax-deductible.

Our league will show our appreciation by placing your company’s name and logo on our local website and in the National Tournament program.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TEAM DOES NOT SECURE A SPONSORSHIP?

It could affect your indoor practice schedule and availability.

ARE THERE PLAYER/FRIEND REQUESTS?

To keep the leagues fair and make sure every team starts the season from a clean slate, we typically try to prevent multiple players that know each other from joining the same team. However, we try our best to grant friend requests if we deem them not to give the team a competitive advantage. If there are several players that would like to join the same team, consider registering for a BYT team.

ARE THeRE COACH REQUESTS?

You can register for a BYT team with the coach that you’d like to play for.
